Applications for the 2025 Ford Mustang GTD open on April 17, 2024, exactly 6 decades after the first mustang was born. You can’t walk into a Ford dealership and request the 2025 Ford Mustang 60th Anniversary Package. You must apply and be selected by Ford before you can drive it into your garage.

The price of the GTD starts at a surprising MSRP of $325,000—$25,000 up from the estimated $300,000 displayed at the LA Auto Show in fall 2023:

The 2025 Ford Mustang GTD is a high-performance supercar boasting a supercharged 5.2L V8 engine designed for over 800 horsepower. It features an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, a semi-active suspension for optimized handling, and a dynamic aero rear wing for enhanced downforce. The car incorporates advanced materials like carbon fiber body panels and magnesium wheels to improve performance by reducing weight and lowering the center of gravity. Additionally, the Mustang GTD offers near 50/50 weight distribution for superior handling.

While U.S. buyers can apply for the vehicle starting now, but European, Middle Eastern, and Mexican buyers will have to wait until June to apply for a car. Deliveries are expected to begin by the end of 2024 or early 2025. For more details on the application and other specifics, you can visit Ford’s official page for the Mustang GTD here.
